Rating:  - * VERY pleased! ... I bought this punch bowl as a Christmas gift for my mother and she went crazy for it! It really IS a BEAUTIFUL, elegant punchbowl. It holds a hefty amount of punch (or sangria!) and the cups were beautiful! The price was more than reasonable AND it had eligibility for Free Shipping! I was upset with the fact that they lowered the price to $24.99 right before Christmas, forcing me to buy something else (with eligibility for free shipping) for free shipping. The irony! But overall I would DEFINITELY recommend!! Rating: - * Wedding gift ... Rating:  - * pretty, but!! ... Yes it's pretty. And big. And inexpensive. And it seems relatively sturdy. But.... 1) if you want to use a Bundt pan to make the ice ring, too bad, as the opening of the punch bowl is too small to get the ring into the bowl. 2) the cups seem, and probably are, precarious when hooked on the rim of the bowl 3) the cups inward-curving rims make them difficult to drink out of 4) the ladle curves in and has no pour 'pinch' or 'spout' and 5) it is so big that it really should come with a dozen cups at least; the six of us never did finish the bowlful of punch. Not recommended. Rating: - * don' t punch me out! ... big, clear, and the cups hang on the side. Haven't use it yet. Awaiting the chance to mis sangria. Unfortunately I lost the recipe for ice. |
